About This Journey
Our Story
This devotional journey was inspired by the passing of my grandfather, John Miller Pruitt, a long-time pastor and God-fearing man. Since his passing, I have become more devoted to leading my family in nightly devotionals, making this a deeply personal and spiritual endeavor.
What began as a personal practice has grown into a mission to help other families strengthen their relationships with God through Scripture, reflection, and prayer together.

Our Purpose
The primary purpose of this devotional is God's glory—helping families develop a stronger relationship with Jesus through deep reflection, practical application, and prayer.
Deeply rooted in Scripture - Using NIV and NLT translations to bring God's Word to life.
Engaging and thought-provoking - Using Jesus' teaching model of questions to encourage deeper thinking.
Accessible yet profound - Simple enough for children to understand, rich enough for parents to grow in their faith.
The Four Spiritual Journeys
Our devotionals follow a seasonal structure, taking families on a progressive spiritual journey:
Seeking (Winter)
Foundational questions about who God is, His purpose, and how to be still and know Him.
Renewal (Spring)
Understanding being born again and aligning with God's purpose.
Reflection (Summer)
Exploring the source of love and how to live as a true reflection of Christ.
Perseverance (Fall)
Wrestling with God, pressing toward the goal, and staying true to Biblical principles.
