Wisdom for the Task God Has Given You
1 Kings 3:9 (NLT) Give me an understanding heart so that I can govern your people well. I need to know the difference between right and wrong.
In 1 Kings 3:9, Solomon asks God for an understanding heart to govern His people well and to discern between right and wrong. This request pleases God, who grants Solomon not only wisdom but also riches and honor.
